Pulse-Driven Bloch Sphere
Design custom pulses and apply them to the Bloch sphere to see how they affect qubit states. Use the controls within the visualization to adjust pulse parameters in real-time.
About Pulse Control
This visualization demonstrates how microwave pulses control superconducting qubits:
- Drive Frequency: The frequency of the microwave drive (typically 4-6 GHz for superconducting qubits)
- Rabi Frequency: Controls the rotation speed around the Bloch sphere (proportional to pulse amplitude)
- Pulse Length: Duration of the pulse in nanoseconds (20ns is typical for single-qubit gates)
The pulse shape preview shows a Gaussian envelope modulated by the Rabi frequency. Click “Apply Pulse” to see how the pulse rotates the qubit state on the Bloch sphere.
